Office BasicsCovers the basic skills needed to work with any Office application. Using the File menu, the Ribbon and the Quick Access Toolbar. Also covered is basic file management: creating, opening, viewing and saving files.
Creating Basic WorkbooksIn half a day, learn how to create and print a basic workbook that records information, performs simple calculations and calculates totals.
Formatting a WorksheetThe next step is getting your worksheet to look the way you want. Learn about basic cell formatting, adding borders and shading automatically formatting cells based on their contents and copying existing formatting.

Understanding FunctionsIn addition to writing your own formulas, you can also use the built-in Excel functions to perform calculations. Explore the Autosum button, understand absolute cell referencing and learn to use the conditional functions to sum, count and average.
Working with Large WorksheetsLearn the techniques necessary to view and work with large worksheets. Use split screens, Freeze Panes, Zoom and multiple windows to view and manage large worksheets.
